This is my last blog post for 2011 and what a great year it’s been, lots of new clients with exciting and challenging projects. I shot this year’s PC World and Currys Christmas catalogue covers and inside covers a few months back, which appeared in stores around Ireland before Christmas.
The concept by art director Rob McDonnell of Trilby Design, involved photographing tightly wrapped products from each of the stores, under the title “Surprise”. The inside covers show the items revealed in the same position. As well as appearing on the brochures (1.5 million of which were printed), the images also appeared online and on television.

Modern Green are a young and dynamic experiential marketing and production company led by Steve Murray and based on Camden Street in Dublin. A long standing client, I was delighted to photograph their new offices recently for their new website, www.moderngreen.com.
This is a beautiful office space designed to enrich the creativity of those who work there. I know I’d certainly like to work here! Enjoy a selection of images.
I was asked to photograph the recently refurbished restaurant The Beach House on the seafront in Bray, Co. Wicklow (formerly Barracuda). It’s got a cool interior with beach hut booths, stunning views of the sea and great food. Here’s a selection of some of the pictures which will be used in the restaurant’s new website.
Here’s a shot from a recent job I photographed for Murphy & Gunn BMW in Milltown, Dublin, introducing the new 5 series BMW range. I combined some dodging and burning with HDR in the retouch or a more dynamic image. Beautiful car too…..
